  2. Regulators and experts: FTC, FCC, Ofcom, ASA, CMA, GOV.UK, American Academy of Pediatrics.
  3. Secondary: specialist sites (e.g., altphones.com), only when labelled as secondary.

How we pick

We weigh published specs, network compatibility in the US and UK, software limits (browser, apps, messaging), update promises and price. We do not give star ratings, because we have not tested the devices.
